Carlos Serra Releases Book About Audrey Mestre's Death
January 9, 2007 in Books by Jorg Jansen
Carlos Serra, former right hand of Pipin Ferreras and former president of the IAFD, Pipin’s freediving organization, opens up all the info he has into a book he wrote about the whole story around Audrey’s death. I’m still doubting if I will buy the book, because it comes to me as a pretty commercial idea to publish this book and it will be probably be full with oooh’s and aaah’s to attract as big an audience as possible. You can order and find more info on the book on Carlos his website.
If I read it, you can expect a full review. If someone has read it and want to get rid of the book, then contact me… ![]()

Actually I read this book, and I have an autograph from him. Funny thing was, he was my manager when I worked at a retail store with him. He worked at Nautica at Dolphin Mall Miami,FL for sometime and he would tell me first hand what happened. It’s a good book, and there’s no ‘OOOOH’s and AHHHH’s’ just plain facts and what he saw. He doesn’t really tell you, ‘okay Pipin killed her’ he just states facts about what happened that day, what happened after, and why does he think Pipin might have done it. (BTW, that wasn’t a spoiler.. if he had proof he actually did it, Pipin would have been arrested)
But anyways, this is a real good book and I recommend it big time. It’s real sad, and very interesting. Seriously, check it out.
