It’s time to give away a nice freediving gift! I’ve got an unread copy with personal autograph of the excellent freediving book “One Breath”, written by Emma Farrell with the help of freediving photographer Frederic Buyle. You can read my previous announcement of this book here. So if you want more info on the book, just visit the sites mentioned on that page. Why give it away? I bought the book online and during its shipment I got a nice present from a friend of mine… You get the picture! And even if the book is very good, leaving one untouched is just to bad. It has to be read as well!
So how can you get the book? Just leave a comment with this post and give your full name and country where you life and tell something nice about this site
End of this month I’m going to draw a person who left a message here to win this book. No catch included, you get the book completely free, including shipment to where ever you are! It doesn’t matter if you leave more then one message, you will be included in the lottery only one time.
So just leave a comment below and end of the month I will announce the winner!
Update: No more entries from know! I’ll announce the winner this weekend!
Great site – always up to date with timely news regarding the latest happenings in the freediving world.

Jorg,
Greetings from California. After reading almost every post on Deeperblue I was running out of freediving content to read. In fact I was getting so desparate that I actually went diving twice this week. Then following your link about “something free” I found this blog. Now I can stay out of the water another morning- reading about diving instead of doing it. If I win the book I can avoid diving even more. (Insert cute smilie here)
PS- Your blog is now on my Google home page. Cool!

Why would I like this book. Well, I’ve always been into doing sports that most people shy away from, but I’ve never been able to be the best even though I trained very hard and was always very dedicated to be the best at whatever I tried. I’ve always wanted to be a deep water diver, this was my ultimate goal! About 6 years ago I found out that I’ve had a condition all my life that doctors kept missing that would make my heart race from 58 resting to 220 BPM. I’ve had to have my heart turned off four times and restarted to put me back in rythm. This is why I was never able to be my best at all the extreme sports I’ve tried. Last year they tried and experimental procedure on my heart to reroute the bad nerves that caused my heart to freak out. It’s been one year and not one episode. It’s time to learn how to dive and I figured your book would be a great way to start. Thanks for listening…..
