OVH Dynamics 2009 Results

June 9, 2009 in Competition, National News by Jorg Jansen

On june 4th there was a small club competition going on in the Boerhave pool in the Netherlands. The competition was not acknowledge by AIDA because of its closed character. But then again, two team members from the Dutch team who go to the world championships did attend. So it’s interesting to see where they are in training.

Nanja van den Broek made an onofficial dutch national record by doing a 111 meter dynamic without fins. Eric van Riet Paap managed to do a 137 meter dynamic with fins, which is now his personal best. Strange thing is, that he has the dynamic without fins national record with a 153 meters distance. (Eric, how come? not enough training with fins?)

Some videoclips of the performances are below. The first one is Eric’s 137 dynamic with fins and the second one Nanja’s 111 meter without fins. More video’s from the competition here.
