Sara Campbell Reaches 100 but fails at surface
June 25, 2009 in Sara Campbell by Jorg Jansen
Today Sara Campbell did a second attempt to a 100 meter constant weight dive. And while she reached the tag and took it back up, she had a blackout a few meters below the surface.
She attempted this attempt during the Blue Hole No More competition. A competition with wr status in Dahab, organized by Lotta and Linda from DahabFreedivers. 3 days of competition in all 3 competition depth disciplines with a maximum of 120 meters.
After the failed attempt Sara commented that she will try again to get this milestone of a record on Saturday, if she feels fit enough.

I received the press release below about the US National Freediving Championships that will take place in Hawaii from April 22-25. Looks like it’s going to be an interesting competition, so if you’re in the neighborhood, go for it! US National Freediving Championship set for April 22 through 25, 2010 at Freedive Paradise event.
AIDA International has a new website and a new web address. It is not yet made public on the old website. Probably because it’s still work in progress. But it is already looking to good for not mentioning it here.
