More and more freedivers are using all the new internet possibilities. Umberto Pelizzari is also one of them. He put a great how-to video on his website and explains the basics about snorkeling/freediving. Italian spoken and English subtitles. The charismatic Italian for sure knows how to present his stuff. In the month July Umberto also starts to work with the Underwaterchannel were he will present three documentaties about whale sharks, manta rays and corals in the Maldives. On October 10 there will also be a new book presented called ‘the breath of freediving’.

Carlos Serra, former right hand of Pipin Ferreras and former president of the IAFD, Pipin’s freediving organization, opens up all the info he has into a book he wrote about the whole story around Audrey’s death. I’m still doubting if I will buy the book, because it comes to me as a pretty commercial idea to publish this book and it will be probably be full with oooh’s and aaah’s to attract as big an audience as possible.
